Purpose of the Job

We are looking for a lead for the Sadhguru Website team. This engineering lead will be responsible for making technology decisions in consultation with the architect to enable to build a scalable and stable product. The lead will be responsible for delivering features and leading a team of talented engineers to execute day to day.

Job Responsibilities

UX and UI understanding and use of best practices
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
Translating Visual designs and wireframes into high quality UI code.
Build and deployment tools usage like Jenkins
Provide estimation of development efforts based on requirements and UX design.
Reviewing the UI Quality and compatibility with multiple browsers & devices
Maintain the page load and overall website performance while integrating the code quality and core web vitals performance tools, and fulfill the KPI metrics.
Create the technical/architectural level documentations
Communicate with other stakeholders when necessary.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelors or Masters degree

Technical Skills
Minimum development and hands on experience of two years in REACT framework (overall should be 5+ years) including React JS concepts, coding and application
Experience in UI technologies react / redux / webpack / express/ NPM
Should have clear understanding of client / server request architecture
(SSG, SSR, CSR)
Experience in working with Databases like MySQL, Postgresql
In depth advance knowledge on HTML 5 / CSS 3 (SCSS), Java script to build desktop as well as mobile web pages
Must have worked in Git / bitbucket or know how for the versioning tool
Experience with browser-based debugging and performance tuning.
Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
Other skills:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
Strong communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience Monitoring and mentoring a small team.
Hands on in Test Driven Development
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
Mentoring and technical leading skills
Availability for Website Maintenance and support and troubleshooting the Live issues
Understand and Adapt to Collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, Slack etc.
